I am engaged in on-going research in the fields of digital storytelling and XR for cultural heritage.  Within my work I study the intersection of design, narration and innovation, through digital creations, animations, multimedia installations and writing.

My narratives take place within spaces that balance utopian and dystopian allegories and act as deforming prisms of contemporary times. My characters are products of their environment and they usually express archetypes of escape from it. In my stories I tend to explore the unusual, the dreamy, the contact with the uncanny and the undefined, as well as problematics around environment and urbanity.
I choose a mainly visual narrative language, combining aesthetic and functional elements from comics, video games and architectural photorealism. I am interested in the pluralism of both the means of expression and the aesthetic references, the use of technology as a research tool but also as a thematic. The application of basic composition principles and the creation of rhythm, the enhanced role of sound design and the formation of the atmosphere.
I am inspired by science fiction, especially cyberpunk, from the dream landscapes of the surrealists, the minimalist music, the "ruins" of modern architecture, cognitive science and philosophy of the mind, constantly tracing bits of dreamlike contemplation and philosophical reflection.

Methodlogically, I seek to find new ways of mapping stories to digital media and communicate ideas and information, “new ways of seeing”. Our research goal remains to .

Besides academic research, my experiments have also informed my design practice in various ways. Over time, I have established general strategies and suggestions on workflows and general management of creative endeavours, primarly those concerning the virtual sphere.
