CATHOLICON
Study/ 3D recreation of the Catholicon of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
The recreation was achieved through a comparative study of various architectural drawings, drafts and photographic material, as well as personal research on the temple’s architectural history.
The goal was to produce data for an accurate estimation of the total surface area, as well as a physical model suitable for presentation and exhibition.
the final deliverable is a 3D printed model (50x25x70), consisting of several interlocking pieces.
